TEMPERATURE & CLIMATE TEST CHAMBERS.

Weiss Technik chambers in use , can be used for various tests. From the horizontal test with a slider bed to the vertical test with a head extender, direct installation or head expander up to operation with a closed floor.

• Floor for vertical vibration with a round or square duct, centred in the test space floor. Heated all around, with vertical sealing.
• Floor for horizontal vibration with a rectangular duct, off-centre in the test space floor. Heated all around, with horizontal seal.
• Closed floor Designed without duct. This way, Shake Event can be extended to a Clime Event for even more extensive testing. The rotated air guiding makes the difference.
• In the Vibration Test Chambers Shake Event, the air to be tempered is drawn off at the lower end of the test space, passed through heat exchangers and heater coils and blown in again from the top. This way, the test specimen is fully surrounded and evenly reconditioned by the tempered air.
• Due to the powerful recirculating-air fans, the shaker has only a minor impact on the reconditioning of the test space.

Electrodynamic shaker

The SDYN’S SEV and sew series of electrodynamic shaker in use produce vibration based on the principle of magnetism. The SEV series is air-cooled and sew series is water cooled. The shaker has two separate coils, one is stationary and the other is dynamic. The stationary coil or field coil helps in magnetizing the iron to produce magnetic field lines and current flowing in the dynamic coil or armature coil interacts with these magnetic field lines to produce motion.

ESS TESTING CHAMBER

At ARC we use Weiss Technik temperature test chamber which is an environmental chamber that interfaces with a customer tester load frame. This chamber is required to expose various materials and components to temperature conditions while undergoing tests. Chambers are designed to accommodate the internal and external size restrictions to properly interface with the load frame along with custom-sized ports at the top and bottom of the environmental chamber for the actuator piston to penetrate through. These chambers are built for easy removal from the load frame.

Temperature range:
Tmax1 = +60°C ; Tmax2 = +55°C ; Tmin = -30°C ; Td = 30 minutes; Td1 = 30min + ATP.
